For those who are having trouble getting the new Google Weather widget, try this one with KWGT.

HOW TO USE THIS-
1. Install Pro version of KWGT app (otherwise the weather icon might not work)
TIP: Though not recommended, a patched/modded APK might do the trick if you can’t buy pro
2. Open the KWGT app and run through initial setup. This will help granting the app necessary permissions to run e.g. location o storage permissions (you might have to create a ‘Kustom’ folder in your internal storage.
3. Now move this widget file to Internal storage/Kustom/widgets directory. If any of the folders is missing, manually create one.
4. Now add a kustom widget on your homescreen, tap it, navigate to Library (on the bottom navigation bar), find your widget from the list and select it. When done, tap ‘Save’ (the one that looks like a floppy drive)
Your widget is successfully added.


To setup location or update weather, open KWGT app and go to app settings, go to ‘Location’, tap ‘Primary Location’ and enter your preferred location or can autolocate using ‘Auto(GPS)’ option.
Now get back to main settings, tap ‘Weather’ and tap ‘Force Update’
