Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to protect the organization's systems, applications, networks, and digital assets from cyber threats. The role will focus on security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, risk assessment, and implementation of cybersecurity controls.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor systems, networks, applications, and security tools for threats and suspicious activities.
Identify and manage cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
Implement security controls across networks, endpoints, applications, and cloud environments.
Support security incident detection, investigation, response, and recovery.
Manage access controls, authentication, and user privileges.
Support application, API, database, and cloud security.
Work with development and IT teams to integrate security into systems and applications.
Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
Support security audits, risk assessments, compliance, and data protection initiatives.
Conduct cybersecurity awareness training and prepare security reports.
Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
3–4 years of relevant cybersecurity or information security experience.
Strong knowledge of network security, vulnerability management, IAM, incident response, application security, and risk management.
Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and cloud security.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Relevant professional certifications are highly preferred, such as:

CompTIA Security+
CEH
CISSP
CISM
ISO/IEC 27001
GIAC or relevant cloud security certifications
