Its kind of reminder, that today we have a guest lecture.

Dear TEAM Students,



I hope this email finds you well. Another week is at an end. Before you start your weekend, I would like to inform you about attendance issues!



As TEAM University, we believe that the best learning happens when students and faculty (and our guest lecturers/speakers) meet face to face. However, as Dean I have been approached by your fellow students and faculty members that the attendance of students is low… Unless you are sick, in which case you need to bring medical report, you are expected to attend your classes in person. Having you in the class not only motivates your teachers, and fellow students but also creates an interactive learning environment.



In one year (two academic semesters) students can miss maximum 72 hours. Of these 72 hours, if you miss 20 your will get your first warning and asked to meet our Student Well-Being Support person Ms. Shahnoza. If you miss 45 hours, which is your second warning and you have to meet with me (your Dean). Finally if you miss 60 hours then your families will be informed! Those students who miss more than 72 hours will no longer be TEAM students!



Transitioning from online to face-to-face education is always requires adjusting but time for adjustment is over now. Moreover, we are aware of the fact that that some of you have jobs and working part-time or full-time, however as a student your main responsibility and job is to be a full-time student!!!



As TEAM faculty and administration, we are here to provide you the best environment to support your learning experience. If you have any issues please approach to Ms. Shahnoza, Q-Team, and teachers. You can also stop me when you see me in the campus, visit my office (second floor, room 212) or email (erdogan@teamuni.uz) to discuss your experience, issues, suggestions.
