If certain POI (Points of Interest) icons on the map are distracting, you can disable specific categories — as shown in the video.

We also recommend not activating all POI at once, especially if your device has only 2 GB of RAM. Features such as 3D buildings, terrain view, and multiple active POI increase the load on your device’s RAM and processor.

Therefore, enable only what you truly need — this will not only reduce the system load but also make map viewing much more comfortable.

We have been asked whether it is possible to disable truck restrictions to create a smoother route in iGO navigation.

Yes, it is possible. Truck restrictions are controlled by files with the “.ftr” extension, located in the content/map folder. In this folder, you can move or delete the “.ftr” files for specific countries.

⚠️ WARNING! These files are an essential part of the navigation data, and we strongly recommend not modifying or deleting them. Their removal may cause your route to pass through restricted areas, result in fines, or prevent you from traveling through certain road sections.

This information is provided for experienced drivers who are confident in their knowledge, regularly operate in specific countries, and are familiar with local routes. If you are not certain, do not delete these files.

We’ve discussed this topic before, but it’s time to explain in detail the compatibility of different navigation apps with modern devices.

Recently, many users with new smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S24, S25, A55, A56, Pixel 7, 8, 9, and others have been asking:

> “Why do iGO Primo or iGO Nextgen no longer work? They used to run perfectly on my tablet with Android 15, but now they won’t install on my new phone.”



Here’s the explanation. The issue is not related to the Android version, but rather to the processor architecture of your device.

Our navigation packages — iGO Primo and iGO Nextgen — include APK files compatible with Android 14, 15, and 16.
We personally tested them on Samsung Tab A9, A11, S9 FE tablets and Galaxy S22 and S23 Ultra smartphones — all of which support 32-bit applications (armv7-a).

Their main advantage is versatility: these devices support both 32-bit and 64-bit applications, allowing any of our navigation packages to be installed and used without issues.
However, starting from 2024, many flagship and mid-range devices are being released without 32-bit support, making older apps such as iGO Primo incompatible.

Some people believe that 64-bit apps are always better. This is partially true — 64-bit applications can access more RAM, allowing more POI categories to be enabled and ensuring smoother performance, provided your device has a powerful processor and more than 4 GB of RAM.
However, the main reason for creating 64-bit navigation packages is compatibility with newer devices built on 64-bit processors.

How to check if your device supports 32-bit and 64-bit applications:

1. Download the Device Info HW app from Google Play:

2. Open the app and go to the SOC tab (as shown in the screenshot).


3. Look for the SUPPORTED ABI section:

If it says: arm64-v8a armeabi-v7a armeabi, your device supports both 32-bit and 64-bit applications.

If it says only: arm64-v8a, your device supports 64-bit apps only, meaning iGO Primo and iGO Nextgen cannot be installed.

Today we will discuss how to adjust the interface size in IGO Nextgen / 64 bit / LUNA. In most cases, the parameter dpi="auto" is considered universal, as the system automatically selects the optimal interface scale. However, on some tablets with 10–12 inch displays, the interface may appear too small, while on others it may be too large.

How can this be fixed? It’s quite simple. You can check your device’s DPI using the same app we use to determine the processor architecture — Device Info HW. After opening the app, go to the SCREEN tab and find the Density field. Your DPI value will be shown there. In my case, it is 450, so the example will be based on this value.

Next, open the program folder, locate the sys.txt file, and open it with a text editor. In the [rawdisplay] section, find the parameter dpi="auto" and replace auto with your DPI value. Save the changes — and the program will display the interface in the correct scale.

The editing process is shown in the video 🎥. If you still have difficulties, we can prepare and send you a ready-made file configured specifically for your device.
