Today, we’ve prepared another helpful guide for all IGO Nextgen Premium users.

Sometimes, both new and experienced users may unintentionally change certain settings, which can lead to various issues — missing parking spots on the map, red circles appearing, black screens, and similar problems. In such cases, most users choose to uninstall and reinstall the navigation software, which is rather inconvenient, especially considering the need to download and extract large files again.

We’ve long had a convenient solution that allows you to restore the default settings without reinstalling the entire program. In this video, you’ll see how to perform this process quickly and easily.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Backup your personal data (only for users with saved locations):
Go to the directory IGO_PAL/save/profiles/01/users and copy folders 00 and 01 to any safe location. These folders contain your saved places and personal data.


2. Delete the settings folder:
Delete the save folder from the IGO_PAL directory.


3. Restore default settings:
Go to the IGO_PAL/W_backup/ folder and open the archive save.zip. Extract the save folder from the archive into the IGO_PAL directory.


4. Restore your saved data (if necessary):
Move the previously copied 00 and 01 folders back into the IGO_PAL/save/profiles/01/users directory.



✅ Done! Launch the program and reconfigure your vehicle parameters.

📌 Note: The backup and restore steps are only necessary if you have saved locations. If not, you can skip them.

The entire process takes just a few minutes and saves you both time and internet data — especially useful if you’re on a limited connection.

This version contains all the necessary data except for the "mg" folder, which contains maps. The full version of this folder takes up more than 12.5 GB.

At the request of our customers, we can provide separate torrents with HERE or TomTom maps for iGO LUNA/Nextgen/Primo/64 bit, where you can select only the countries you need. The full versions include all maps of Europe, Great Britain, and the Middle East (Turkey, Kazakhstan) — without maps of Russia.
