The most effective way to reduce the size of the application is to remove data for countries that you do not need.

The required data is located in the following paths:

IGO Primo (IGO)

IGO Nextgen (IGO_PAL)

IGO 64 BIT (IGO_World or IGO_Avic)


You will find the corresponding files in these directories:

content/map - maps

content/building - buildings for specific countries

content/phoneme - phonemes for countries

content/poi - points of interest for countries


IGO LUNA has its own data directory:

IGO_LUNA/content/mg/baseline


You can delete all unnecessary countries from these folders, which will significantly reduce the size of the application. For example, the folder with maps for all European countries and England takes approximately 4.8 GB.

This approach will help to optimise the memory usage on your device.

In this short video 🎥 we will demonstrate how to restore IGO Nextgen to the factory settings using the "save backup" archive 🗂️.

This archive has been included in our collection for a long time based on practical experience 🛠️. It often happens that drivers who are working with IGO Nextgen for the first time accidentally change the settings in such a way that it becomes impossible to use the navigation 🚫. Problems occur, such as a black screen 📵, broken POI display plugins or red circles ⭕ appearing in the middle of the map. Usually, users take the hard way out - uninstalling the application and re-downloading the large archive. However, this is not necessary ❌. Follow the instructions in the video, and the settings will be restored to their original state ⚙️.

Update of the Speedcam plug-in and warnings for trucks.

Only for the new version of IGO 64 BIT ❗

To update, you need to replace the plug-in file "speedcam.zip" in the IGO_Avic/ux folder.Also make sure to delete the archive "speedcam_mod_NC_AF_3DM.zip" from the same folder to avoid conflicts between files.

In some cases 🛠️ on some devices, a problem occurs: when you click on the route plan, when a list of turns, road names, etc. appears, it is impossible to scroll down this list - it automatically returns to the top 🔝. To solve this problem, do the following:

P.S. in some extremely rare cases, even this will not help. Then the only option is to turn off the GPS at the time of viewing the route plan. Unfortunately, this problem is related to some devices, not the program.
