We are pleased to announce an updated German voice and language for IGO NextGen and IGO NextGen LUNA, compatible with all skins. Date of update: 12.07.2024.

1. Place the file Voice_TTS_Pro_Katharina_V1_Winter.zip in the content/voice folder, agreeing to the replacement.
2. Place the file Lang_German_Winter_NextGen.zip in the content/lang folder, agreeing to the replacement.

No need to unzip the archives!

We are also publishing the updated Spanish language for IGO Nextgen.

The updated version was sent to us by our customer from Spain, for which we are very grateful 🤝.

The file "Lang_Spanish.zip" should be placed in the folder IGO_PAL/content/lang, agreeing to the replacement.

We would like to introduce an important section "Warnings" in the settings for new drivers. Here you can manage notifications, speed cameras, signs and other information that is displayed during the route. These settings are individual and everyone decides what they need and how to set

As Andrey Form explained:

"SCDB 1,2,3 is without average speed cameras, because they do not have a division into start and finish, for those who do not care, they put SCDB 1,2,3,4, how they determine where the start and finish is a question. But SCDB 1,2,3 is an opportunity to add 4 codes from the OSC database where there is a start and finish.

Tunnels and payment booths are an addition for those who use SCDB. If you use the OSC database, it is already in the file.

And we use the OSC database, so the files above were deleted.

We will be making two speed camera databases publicly available so that you can choose which one suits you best.

ITruck is a more advanced, hybrid combination of the maximum speed limit on the highways of different countries and closed road sections by speed, where information is not available on maps. If you have a truck over 10 tons, this database is more suitable for you.

However, it is important: choose only one database - either OSC or ITruck. If you use both at the same time, you will receive conflicting notifications.

P.S. There is no perfect database, there are always some small nuances.

We would like to remind you not to rush to update to Android 15! 📱❌

We haven't tested this version of the OS yet! The update process may be irreversible, so take your time. ⚠️🔄

🧑🏻‍💻 We have made some changes to the plugin regarding the speedcam display speed. By default, the plugin displays a notification at 350 meters, we changed it to 700 meters. We also changed the display speed for other categories of alerts. This is not the final version yet, we will continue to make changes to achieve the most optimal solution.

Attention: Changes have been made for truck drivers!

Please place the archive "speedcam_mod_NC_AF_3D.zip" in the IGO_PAL/ux folder, having agreed to the replacement. No need to unpack it!

The original plugin was taken from Blog AF.

Optimize camera notifications

Good morning, dear drivers!

We have updated the IGO Nextgen (Europe & England) HERE Maps 2023 Q4 navigation build.

The update contains all the corrections, optimization improvements, adjustments with the plugin for displaying warnings and speed cameras, as well as the latest databases as of 29.07.2024.

This update was released without fail, as some of the changes are quite serious. It is aimed specifically at truck drivers! The speedcam database is OSC, but if you wish, you can replace it with POIBase, which is presented above ☝️
