Today we are releasing an updated traffic and weather service 🚦🌤️ for the owners of the latest IGO Nextgen Premium build.

In previous versions, the traffic provider was "Decell". Now we are replacing it with TomTom for more accurate traffic and weather information 🚦.

Below we will attach the archive with the update instructions 📂.
The password is the same as for the latest version of IGO Nextgen Premium.

Update instructions:

1. Place the 4 files in the archive named "res.." in the IGO_PAL/save/connected_resources folder, agreeing to the replacement 📁.

2. In this folder, delete the file "res00027E2400000000" (this is the previous Decell provider) 🗑️.

3. Place the new license key "service_register_v1.sav" from the archive in the IGO_PAL/save folder, agreeing to the replacement 🔑.

Done! TomTom is now the traffic and weather provider in IGO 🌐.

All future IGO Nextgen Premium navigation builds will have updated traffic from TomTom 🚦.

Owners of the latest version of Nextgen Premium can request access to other providers. However, for now we recommend using TomTom as a more reliable source of data (we are still testing other TMC providers).

1. Place the file Voice_TTS_Pro_Katharina_V1_Winter.zip in the content/voice folder, agreeing to the replacement.
2. Place the file Lang_German_Winter_NextGen.zip in the content/lang folder, agreeing to the replacement.

No need to unzip the archives!

We would like to introduce an important section "Warnings" in the settings for new drivers. Here you can manage notifications, speed cameras, signs and other information that is displayed during the route. These settings are individual and everyone decides what they need and how to set

As Andrey Form explained:

"SCDB 1,2,3 is without average speed cameras, because they do not have a division into start and finish, for those who do not care, they put SCDB 1,2,3,4, how they determine where the start and finish is a question. But SCDB 1,2,3 is an opportunity to add 4 codes from the OSC database where there is a start and finish.

Tunnels and payment booths are an addition for those who use SCDB. If you use the OSC database, it is already in the file.

And we use the OSC database, so the files above were deleted.

We will be making two speed camera databases publicly available so that you can choose which one suits you best.

ITruck is a more advanced, hybrid combination of the maximum speed limit on the highways of different countries and closed road sections by speed, where information is not available on maps. If you have a truck over 10 tons, this database is more suitable for you.

However, it is important: choose only one database - either OSC or ITruck. If you use both at the same time, you will receive conflicting notifications.

P.S. There is no perfect database, there are always some small nuances.
