It is strange that in 2024 we need to write such an article, but if it is necessary, we will do it.
GPS is not looking for IGO, but your receiver in the tablet, IGO only receives data from your receiver and based on it displays information about your location.
Do the following:
1. Make sure that your tablet has a GPS device at all
2. Make sure you have geolocation enabled
3. Be sure to check if IGO has the right to use the geolocation in your tablet/smartphone.
4. Do not forget that satellites do not connect well to your tablet/smartphone when you are indoors. Go outdoors and, assuming you have followed the previous steps, wait until the GPS receiver has picked up the required number of satellites to work. Obstacles such as concrete slabs in apartments or rough iron obstacles prevent your device from picking up satellites.
Please note that the roof of a car or truck does not interfere with satellite search. We are talking about rough obstacles. And yes, if you bought a "free" tablet for 1000-1500 hryvnias (up to $40), do not expect a miracle and a high-quality receiver. The signal on such a tablet is provided to you. If you want a quality tablet not for all the money, look at models like:
