Interviews can be hacked - Part 1

Part 1 will include:
- Introduction ( Highly underrated )

How?
- By thinking from the 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 
OR
- Simply by helping the interviewer in taking your interview

What I mean by that:
- When an interviewer sees your resume for the first time and has just 10 secs to go over it, the person has very little idea of what to talk about and what kind of questions can be asked from you and that is where your INTRODUCTION steps in.

So help them by including these in your intro.

1) Your skillset that you acquired over the last few years ( Only that are relevant to the job )

Now the interviewer will think about whether he knows any of the skills you just mentioned and will try to think of questions related to them. An interviewer is also a person and cannot know everything. So important to mention only those skills which you are proficient in.

2) 𝐄𝐧𝐝 the introduction with the ‘Part’ you want the interviewer to talk about 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓. This is very important.

Hi, I am Maghav. I’m a final year student at DTU. I took Mathematics and Computer Science as my field of study. I started with data Analytics in my first year and slowly moved to machine learning in my second year. I was so fascinated by recommender systems that I created one for my college where a mentee can get matched to a mentee. I developed an app for it and it got 1000 successful matches.

Make an introduction that helps you control the 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰. And you would never say something like ‘Agar interviewer mere dusre project/internship ke baare mei puchta toh bahut achcha jaata interview’.
