It is becoming increasingly popular to have a year off between finishing school and entering university.
Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
It cannot be denied that acquiring a bachelor's degree is a stepping stone towards getting a decent job. However, one-year gap between school graduation and getting into university is a common choice these days. While using this one year period inefficiently and losing the desire to continue studying can be disadvantageous, they can both prepare more and choose what career path they will take wisely with more time, which are far superior.
It is true that failing to apply to universities right after finishing school leads to both wasting time and the fondness to study at all. In other words, in this day and age, the competition not only to enter universities, but also finding job is as intensive as it can get, which means, by taking one year off may cause them to fall behind their peers. In addition, it is certain that not every applicant chooses to something meaningful in this 12 - month period. Instead, they may get addicted to various hobbies, like video games, working a temporary blue-collar job and, even worse, to drugs, as they are not busy with anything worthwhile. These factors, in turn, can pull them back and prevent th from entering to universities at all.
On the flip side, it is common knowledge that this trend offers more substantial perks and the explanation of this stance is two-fold. Firstly, during high school years, students are fully occupied with useless and endless school exams, coupled with their social problems. Secondly, more often than not, upon completing their school, they are forced and urged to choose a major prematurely or they need to listen to what their parents want rather than making a calculated decision about their future. Hence, this one year gap is not just good, but instrumental in order to avoid aforementioned situations and do what is best for them, as in one year, they can truly realize where, their passion lies and prepare hard to enter a prestigious university. Which is a good example in favor off supporting this approach to education.
It is said that entering university consequently after school is falling out of favor. It can be concluded that despite some demerits that should worry people, the merits of this trend are much greater.

Tanishing, ushbu o'quvchimiz IELTS imtihonidan 7.5 ballga ega bo'ldi! Eng hayratlanarlisi esa, u atigi 16 yosh bo'lishiga qaramay ushbu natijaga erishdi!
Sizga ham shunday natijalar kerakmi? Unday bo'lsa, qayerga borishni aniq bilasiz!
