I suppose that relating some of prisoners' communications to me in this channel might be said to be "passing information on" but so what? What law says I can't do this?
You don't become PROPERTY by being imprisoned and officials who suppose that you are their PROPERTY are committing extra-judicial actions.

Their justification appears to be that prison is a place where someone is reformed and rehabilitated for whatever crime they committed. OK, I don't agree with that goal but I do respect its intention. However, our prisoners are usually convicted specifically because CT found something they could pin on them while on a raid of the prisoners' homes. So, LOGICALLY, reform THAT. Since the prisoners are not being convicted of their philosophy and opinions then the State has no business trying to "rehabilitate" that.
So Kris Kearney is still in the UK prison system (HMP Chelmsford). He was going to be in Spain by now. Does anyone know what is happening with his supposed transfer to Spain?

Does anyone know of something just like this but that plays a pre-recorded music track? In other words a battery powered, wearable karaoke machine with bluetooth headset? It has to leave one's hands free. https://www.amazon.co.uk/SHIDU-Amplifier-Microphone-Waterproof-Rechargeable/dp/B07WQRDC3N/
In the prisoners' text file I had overlooked an incorrect postcode for Sven. I have updated this in the original message.
Tony Hovator has been relieved of his position as Chief of Staff of the NJP. This is a decision I took in consultation with our National Staff and Supporter Group Directors and I have their complete support. The NJP could no longer function under a committee structure so I am now in control of the party. The Committee structure was prone to instability and this resulted in several notable departures, namely due to irreconcilable attitude and outlook differences between the members. We need to change that. For the time being I ask that everyone wait patiently and there will be some more announcements about the direction of the NJP forthcoming.

Rest assured that Operation White Christmas is still on and being worked by our fantastic National Staff. More lists will be posted shortly and all families will receive their gifts.

Thanks

- Mike

I ban subscribers who don't feel right, who have something "off" about them. Like this one yesterday, who had a tv policeman as his avatar. I IM'd him "Are you a police officer?" and his response was not to IM me back but to change his avatar to a blank (no picture) one while I was looking at the screen. Seems a clear enough answer to me! He didn't, however, remove the picture altogether, so you get to enjoy it. 😊

I would guess that our subs would be over 200 if I hadn't removed weed merchants, e-whores, "anarchists" such as the white guy with awful "dreads," and people with horrific avatars (I won't describe).

You would also be surprised at how many "deleted user" ghost subscribers accumulate, presumably because people uninstall Telegram and delete their profiles.

But if in doubt I'll leave them alone, because I'd be the first to admit that "it takes all kinds." Just being a bit odd doesn't mean you aren't with us.
I am in the midst of writing appeals against the restriction of communication notices I have received wrt Ash and Kris.

In the case of the prisoners who have gone quiet, Sven and Ty, I have written to their respective prisons to seek clarification of my contact status. I expect they will send me either a letter or a standard notification form similar to what I have posted here with respect to Ash and Kris. My purpose is to get whatever they are doing in writing.

Now that I think of it, I'll write to Costello's prison also, seeking clarification, since I have not received a reply from him.

The ban notices don't mention donations. They only mention, in the case of Ash: visits, mail, and phone, and, in the case of Kris: mail and telecommunications.

I take that to mean that donations are not excluded, so I shall continue them.

You, of course, unbanned reader, should do all of the above.
I see that PA are saying that one must be on a prisoner's "approved list" before using the gov.uk site to send the prisoner money. I have found that NOT to be the case: I sent at least one a donation that was received before he was able to phone me. And I have not seen such a claim anywhere other than on PA's website. Does anyone else here have information for or against this idea?
I happened to look out the kitchen window just now and saw a fully-grown male deer walking nonchalantly across the yard. The outside light came on and gave me a good view. Smallish antlers. He glanced around at the light but didn't notice me at an upper window. He went around the side of the building before I could get my phone to taker a shot. His colour was very light, with light brown shading on the back.
Please send Christmas cards to these prisoners.

I installed a cheap PCIe to USB C (USB 3.2) expansion card into my Inspiron 7010 minitower pc and it more than doubled the file transfer rate for straight copying of files from the computer to an external drive, from 40 MB/s to 85 MB/s. The effect on doing an image backup of the pc (200GB) to a microSD card was to almost halve the time of the previous best run, from 90 minutes to 48 minutes. So It was a good guess that the USB interface had been the remaining bottleneck.

48 minutes for a full backup is convenient to do every day, say setting it running before going to meal break.

One could stop there since it is an acceptable setup in answer to The Question. However, I noticed that the price "sweet spot" for SSDs has increased (in capacity) in recent years making 1TB SSDs quite economical. I bought one and I shall clone my mechanical HDD to it and see whether further reduction in backup time is achievable.
