A lot of people didn't realise how nice Google was to us with free device integrity through beta fingerprints.

The Best Years Of Our Lives
Okay, time to boot A15 EvoX/Derpfest then
A15 DerpFest booted lessgooo
Installed via fastbootd (use lineage recovery)
Used TRM's Hyper NEXT as vendor base + me vbantom kernel to boot

A15 DerpFest booted lessgooo Installed via fastbootd (use lineage recovery) Used TRM's Hyper NEXT as vendor base + me vbantom kernel to boot
Bugs:
Vibration is dead
Wired and BT headphones is dead
Refresh Rate is locked on 60hz (regardless of what you switch it to, maybe switchable via cli) + backlight control dead so weird colors+very bright (workaround: Livedisplay works, so set colors from there but lower them to below 50)
Btw it is very bland, no derp custiomizer tab and all tweaks are everywhere else
But ME Moto dolby atmos! I likey
Anyhow, for those who are here from vbaloboto days, you can see how happy I am that I finally booted a GSI 😁
Main takeaways that I've learned
1. OSS vendor won't boot anything BUT the AOSP ROM it compiled with, so use MIUI vendor to boot GSIs (preferred from MIUI/HyperOS ports)
2. Do not try too gorey GSIs that obviously wont boot like Pixel OEM, NothingOS, etc.. (HyperOS 2.0 however is an exception)

Nevermind it is useless if both wired and bt headphones are dead
I'm gonna try the EvoX GSI tomorrow then

Okay, flashed the EvoX GSI now
Vibration now works, wired headphones still dead but BT headphones work fixed it also through the handy dandy phh treble settings kek
Color profiles are still werid but we can correct it and set refresh rate via the very handy Phh treble settings
Very much lesser customization Vs derpfest unfortunately

SUSFS module has been updated, use that now for both [KSU] and [KSU-NEXT] builds
https://github.com/sidex15/ksu_module_susfs/releases/tag/v1.5.2-R9
Download the _1.5.2 zip
For [KSU-NEXT] builds, open the webui of the module and enable "Hide Custom ROM paths" in Custom SUSFS settings to benefit from the lineage-maphide

Okay, first 48 hours with the EvoX GSI
1. I don't know why, but there were weird random issues like Webview just randomly dying and needing caches to be wiped to fix and such, but all those are fully gone when I switched from vbantom to STRIX-Revived (maybe take it as a recommendation to use STRIX-Revived kernel for daily driving GSIs)
2. I figured out how to fix also wired headphones not working, it all relies on that phh treble settings which is missing in Mystic's GSIs
3. The lack of customisations but Pixel features being there made me treat this GSI like it's A15 PixelOS lmao
4. The battery life is much better after switching to STRIX-Revived, even better than VOS A14!

I'll most definitely be daily driving this for a month or less or until I run onto a deal-breaker bug

Nevermind, the webview bug is still there even after switching kernels, it happens after a certain uptime has passed and the workaround of rebooting into recovery, wiping caches and rebooting back has become annoying enough for me to count as a deal-breaker now
Looks like imma need to switch to 3rd runner up TRM Hyper Next now

STRIX-Revived Staging 20241210
* Attempt to fix the issue of soft reboots once and for all (specifically reported with bq charger driver users)
Please let me know over in DMs if everything works fine..
I.e no more soft reboots, no disconnect and reconnect during charging, etc..

If all goes well, new STRIX-Revived update with KSU and SUSFS update, as well as a special performance-focused MIUI-only variant that is focused for 💣 ports such A15 HyperOS 2.0, OxygenOS/ColorOS, etc..

with KSU and SUSFS update
Same for vbantom, even though again no changelog for the third time in a row, meaning again NoSU will be skipped as it is not affected
