All the issues I have with USB OTG in kernels can be simplified down to one thing by my testing: It's caused by KernelSU
Like, try rebooting phone to KSU safe mode (spam vol up and vol down buttons after the first vibration so that you don't accidentally boot into recovery or fastboot) and then check if USB OTG is working again
Alternatively, use another kernel that doesn't have KSU and then check if USB OTG works again
IF yes, the issue is caused by KSU, I don't why but it just is

Fair to say I'll stop using KSU now, since it's also EOL (for non-GKI like sweet)
I'll stick with APatch when possible, if not, Kitsune Mask it is

I have tried this with different ROMs, AOSP and MIUI, different kernels where I KNOW USB OTG is working there, and it all narrows down to the issue being caused by KernelSU

It even happens when no modules are installed in KSU! So no, definitely not caused by any module I use
