[HyperOS 2.0] animations are slowed down at 120hz
2 Things regarding that issue:

1. It has been solved by implementing Sbalance which will be available in the next update, but it won't be as smooth as 60hz
2. A proper fix should be ROM-sided not kernel-sided. For example, @Yar_Zloy's latest EU 2.0.104.0 port does not have this issue on current stable 20250202 release

Tipbit from me (my personal experience, yours may differ)

If MIUI 14 or HyperOS 1.0: feel free to nuke Joyose, and maybe you'll get a slight performance improvement

However, do not nuke Joyose on HyperOS 2.0! It'll make things much more laggy

I really didn't want this, but since it has reached the point of no return....

Starting from the next STRIX-Revived/moddedVantom update, KSU bases will be switched back to @rsukrnlsu

If you have any issues with any modules that is caused by magic mount, please use this module

I will just stop development since the repo is getting too much issue spam to post hate, so go on use ksu official like I even forced you to not use it lol I always said use whatever you want but coming in ksu next group to slander without using it is actually brainrot, I will unarchive it when I feel like it till then I will develop it locally

"If your device has an open kernel source and still use magisk or apatch instead of KernelSU-Next + SuSFS then it's a serious goddamn crime and you need to lock your bootloader for real you don't deserve root 🥴"

The emoji 🥴 should've obviously gave out the joke but it was taken as a serious and bad mouthing like bro I use magisk on my other devices and I absolutely love the concept of apatch from the very beginning and have said it in public groups multiple times as it has some much potential even more than KernelSU or Next, to the point I wanna work on apatch as well cuz I love everything about kpm, so idk why people are talking my words as a bad intent still and keeping the drama alive which shouldn't ever be a drama about this, I simply joked that why you not using ksu next + susfs if you really want root hidden and shit talking next while never used it and using magisk and apatch which has issues with root hiding at the moment and with the joke part I also said if you don't use something you don't know anything about and not use ksu next while you are in the ksu next group then you should lock your bootloader and you don't deserve root an obvious joke also I said it's a crime because you are here in the group and not using ksu next before shit talking is brainrot,

I would never diss other root solution/alternatives while I use them myself and am a fan since magisk was very new to the community.

If you are so butt hurt about a joke then it's a you problem and idk how it is an issue for me .

But anyways I apologize for a joke

🥴 Now we have to apologize for a joke is what says this generation is fucked up

An update regarding STRIX-Revived:

I have now fixed AOD DT2W on MIUI 🎉, but it breaks AOD DT2W on AOSP instead 😭
Fixing this isn't as simple or straightforward as fixing IR Blaster, and as such, I may be forced to split [UNIVER] into separate [AOSP] and [MIUI] variants. [enAOSP] and [leMIUI] could be affected by this if a rename is required for them

And thus, instead of 3 zips, now it's 4 zips 😭

A request for anyone who's experiencing issues with STRIX-Revived or modded Vantom in EROFS ROMs (i.e telegram/nekogram cannot open nor send files in EROFS ROMs...):

Can you flash a kernel that is not brickports (i.e official vantom) uninstall telegram/nekogram, and then reinstall it and see if the issue is resolved?

For anyone's who's asking why do I maintain this modded build of vantom 🤔:-

1. As previously mentioned, me lazy to work on vbantom
2. Its a good guinea pig environment for me to see and test linux upstreams, KSU and SUSFS changes before I apply them on STRIX-Revived (If we don't count the EROFS issue caused by brickports 🙈)

One last STRIX-Revived update:-

As previous STRIX-Revived announcement stated that due to the AOD DT2W fix for MIUI breaks it for AOSP, and that the solution for that would be for [UNIVER] variant to be split into an AOSP only and MIUI only variants :-

The following new variants will be made available from the next update:

[15AOSP]: This is the AOSP only variant that has been split from UNIVER, supporting only up to A15 pre-QPR1. It'll be shipped with a second AOSP dtbo which is alternative for pulkit tree ROMs

[15MIUI]: This is the MIUI only variant that has been split from UNIVER, supporting HyperOS 2.0 and will come with the fix needed for AOD DT2W for MIUI

[enAOSP] --> [16AOSP]: This is the new name for the enAOSP variant, as it supports up to A16 👀. Any AOSP ROM under A15 experiencing boot failure or other issues with this variant should flash the [15AOSP] variant instead

[leMIUI] --> [14MIUI]: This is the new name for the leMIUI variant, as it supports only up to A14 and is intended for stock MIUI base ROMs that have issues with ebpf changes and will come with the fix needed for AOD DT2W for MIUI. HyperOS 2.0 should flash the [15MIUI] variant instead.

STRIX Kernel Revived 20250218
"...this is way better than my valentines date!"

Changelog:
Upstreamed linux to 4.14.356-openela-rc1 (no more brickports that introduced EROFS issues 🙈)
[UNIVER] is now split into 2 variants: [15AOSP] and [15MIUI] (for more info about the variants now, see https://t.me/tbyool/1035)
[**MIUI] FIXED AOD DT2W 🎉
Fixed custom double tap fingerprint sensor gestures in HyperOS 2.0 and other fingerprint issues by checking out fingerprint drivers from vantom
Implemented SBalance with optimized configuration and tweaks to fix HyperOS 2.0 CC animation slowdown at 120Hz (a proper fix should be ROM-sided, this is just kernel-side attempted mitigation and improvement on top of ROM-sided fix)
Implemented several memory improvements, including and not limited to:
* Disabling MGLRU in favor of SLMK and le9 (this time it is done properly unlike yVy 🤭)
* Implemented Oplus mm hacks
* Implemented proactive compaction backport
* Other misc mm and zram improvements
Fixed sometimes slow charging
Made deepsleep even more aggressive
Other stuff that I forgor about...

[leMIUI] is now renamed to [14MIUI]
[enAOSP] is now renamed to [16AOSP]
