⛔ Today is the deadline for the US Government to submit its assurances to the UK courts in the case of Julian Assange.
The USG was offered to provide assurances that Mr. Assange would be granted First Amendment protections and that he will not face the death penalty once on US soil, if extradited.
The assurances can be reversed at any time, and the US has broken assurances in previous extradition cases.
