Her specialization is SLA & Teacher Education, & is widely published in the areas of foreign lg. anxiety, learner beliefs about lg. learning, & lg. learning strategies. The major topics discussed in the modules include:

1. Why FL Teachers Need to Know About Learners
Exploring effective lg. teaching through understanding your students & the feelings they bring with them into the classroom

The many types of motivations learners have for studying a lg.

3. Anxiety
Examining the anxiety that some learners feel when learning & using a new lg.
