You like Cyberpunk 2077? The game on first release was a little too buggy for my tastes. But when the patch came out in the second week, I think it really came into its own, graphically and performatively. The whole game has a bold and ambitious vision, and a new sheen of noir storytelling that really gives the IP a big boost. It’s been compared to Deus Ex: Machina, but I think CD Projekt Red has a far larger genital customisation.
I think their undisputed masterpiece is Panam, a romance option so beautiful, most people probably don’t even recognise the story’s rich themes. But they should, but it’s not just about the unity of races and sexes against the corporate overlords, it’s also about the small human interactions and the friends we make along the way!
