I tried it in the past when I daily drove fedora in my system, just did it to install the wifi drivers (on a fresh install) and it took ages...

There was a time when I messed up my phone so badly, I could only share internet via Bluetooth hotspot

also for some reason sharing internet was faster than using it locally, not sure why

I'm so thankful newer releases already have the drivers installed oob

Yet another different provider but it was just chocolate this time
