😂😂😂 A little fun ! I dont know the language of this song, but I think i heard Ashgabat, so it's probably a Turkmen language. Anyways, whoever did this is brilliant! 😂😂

Those of you who follow my posts know that I’m a big believer in self-restraint. In the last 15 years, I’ve had no alcohol, no caffeine, no meat, no pills, and no fast food. Health-wise it brought good results: I only had a fever once in the last 15 years. Typically, I just don’t get ill.

A year ago I added more restrictions to my diet: no gluten, no dairy, no eggs, no fructose. I did it to achieve higher productivity and clarity of thought, as well as to train will power and self-discipline.

Another technique I employ to improve will power is swimming in ice-cold water every winter in Finland or Switzerland. If you ever faced the necessity to stay in a lake with a thin layer of ice on top for a few minutes, you are less likely to procrastinate when it comes to starting on a boring but necessary project.

In May I limited the foods I eat to fish and seafood only. In case you have daily access to fresh wild-caught fish, I can definitely recommend this diet for boosting productivity. Unlike farmed meat or the products of agriculture, which were introduced to our diet fairly recently (like 15,000 years ago), wild fish cooked on fire is something our ancestors evolved to consume throughout the last million of years. As humans required a daily source of water, they had to live near rivers and lakes, so a seagan diet makes much more sense to me than veganism or rawism from an evolutionary perspective.

This month I’m trying something more radical, with consuming no food at all. I’ve been on a water fast for the last 6 days and am feeling great so far. Since zero food consumption improves clarity of thought, I also got many things done on the product-management side.

Fasting is a great way to allow your digestive system to clean and reboot, and also to allow your immune system to work on other things than clearing the constantly incoming food. Our hunter-gatherer ancestors had to do with no food for prolonged periods of time, so our body is not only evolved for that, but is actually expecting us to give it a break in consumption at least once a year. That’s why most religions have a tradition of fasting – it’s healthy and necessary both for the body and the mind.

Obviously, I might lose some muscle mass as a result, but I believe that if I manage to come up with new great ideas for Telegram during the fast, it will be beneficial for all of the millions of Telegram users. And making the lives of our users more enjoyable has been and will be my number one priority.

I've been doing intermited fasting for 1,5 months now.
But after seeing this last Durov's post I got inspired to go on pure water fast.
So it's only 41 hours so far. I dont feel too hungry, but my mind is not sharp.
Lets see how it goes!

oh man! this is not so easy... have been having headaches for last 3-4 hours...
Start of Day 3. Rough night... hardly slept. Well it was just as I read in Tim Ferris's "Tools of Titans".
They say that between 2-3 Day of the water fast is the hardest period. Soon body should adapt and switch to using fat as energy source.
Now headaches are starting to ease away, but there's weird discomfort in stomache. But I cant say that Im hungry.
What really has changed is my smelling abilty, can smell neighbours cooking sweet(I think it's apple) pie just as im writing.😂
Crackdown on Russian journalists is continuing.
This time it's Ivan Gorbunov a Real journalist who did lots of stories on corruption of Russian government officials.
Ivan has been charged with possession of drugs. This case is an obvious hunt against real investigative journalism.
Drug cases are common practice of fighting against free journalists or opposition in Russia.
Sign of typical authoritative goverment using dirty tricks to limit freedom of speech!🤬

Day 4. No more headaches, slept longer than usual. Don't feel hungry, but feeling a little weak. When I took quarter spoon of salt with my water weird feeling in my belly disappeared. Apparently, salt is very important for our bodies!
Well day 4 is on the way and I dont feel any clarity, energy, still weak and Im starting to feel hungry again... To be honest I felt much better and was way more productive during intermited fasting.
Went for 5 km walk.
Still feel weak.
Talking about increased productivity -My work is stalling because i'm lazy to do anything. Mind is not clear(like many people reported ).
Maybe this fast was good for my overal health, but I havent noticed anything.
Probably going to break my fast today at 23:00.
It will be exact 4 days.
My water fasting experiment is over!
I've broken my fast last night.
And today Im back !! Feeling great again!
10x times more productive comparing to yesterday.
A lot more focused !!! Mind is sharp! 🎯

I dont think im going to repeat this anytime soon and judging from my personal experience I will not advice to try it to anyone without medical supervision. Unlike intermited fasting which worked really well for me!

The only positive I noticed is change of the mood after breaking fast to really positive!
When u deprive urself from something and finally get it - feels like you're high.

Wow ! Today all criminal charges were dropped ! This is unbelievable. Goverment actually listened to ordinary folks.
It's a true victory for Russian people ! A true victory of those brave people who went out to protest injustice !
Next great step would be jailing those crooked cops who framed Ivan by putting drugs in his bad and telling so lies that even an idiot wouldnt believe.
Russian cops are not the worst cops in the world, they wont shoot a kid with a toy gun(at least i've never heard that happen). And if you talk to them one by one most of them are really great guys, but system is too corrupt. It's no made to bring good out of them. Many of them go to police to protect people, but once they join they realize that their main job is not to protect all people, but to bring fixed sum of money to their boss and protect goverment, otherwise they'll never get a raise.
Today was probably the first time cops have actually backed down under public pressure.
It shows a tiny hope that maybe things could change for better in Russia🇷🇺
