First, I wonder what kind of trophy you're expecting to receive for your composure, I wonder what good has ever come from locking your feelings away, I wonder how uncomfortable it must be for your heart to live in such a tight space.
Second, I wonder if you're lying, I wonder if when no one is looking the world suddenly becomes too heavy to hold and tears overflow without your control.
Third, I wonder if you secretly wish that someone would notice, how hard you are trying to be hard, I wonder if you are longing for someone to look behind your shell, to see there is a child crying, begging to be held.
