We do election integrity work in the form of poll watching, open records requests and volunteer work like campaigning and canvassing. I'd like to help make local action more fun, and to have at least 3 block captains for each PCs. I have a poll watchers training course, and I'd like all block captains to be trained as Poll Watchers, Canvassers, Campaigners, and VDRs.

That is my goal for the event on the 22nd. Please bring any groups you know, we would love to sign ppl up on the spot for block captains. I can give my training, we have a canvassing trainer, and then a VDR and official training with Darl Easton maybe, if he's got one for Block Captains.

Here is a TEMPLATE for *WHAT I NEED* to generate precinct level heat maps for your canvassing operations (like I did for Maricopa).

I need ONLY for you to do the tedious digging to insert the proper numbers into the GRAY columns only. That would be R votes, D votes, Other votes, Total votes for 2012, 2016, and 2020.

1) I will handle the rest of the columns with my methodology.

2) Insert the precinct number and name on the far left.

3) Ensure the precincts remain consistent from 2012 to 2020. Sometimes they are redrawn on the fly or are expanded, contracted, etc.

4) Double check your work.

I will be able to establish the trend/direction of a precinct based on behavior from 2012 to 2016, and assess 2020 based off of this.

This will get you after the right precincts for your canvassing, especially in very large counties.

You should be able to find vote totals by precinct on the county elections page (clerk).
