I will give some effort into expressing my appreciation for Bill Eastland, chair of SD22 Rules Committee, who invited me to join in as a committee member at my first Senate District Convention. I had a great time today, and learned so much.

He has, multiple times, spoken in depth with me about issues I care about and have done research on, and items that he has thought deeply on how to help me fix. At the convention I learned how to debate resolutions, how to draft them, that sometimes hypocrisy and double standards take the issue, but usually we can operate in relative harmony if we understand and are aligned in goals.

Mr. Eastland is running for SREC and I will fully endorse him and ask others to as well as the next convention. He has earned his spot, and previously served on the SREC. He calls me, asks me questions, answers mine, invites me to events and is very respectful, understanding and kind.

And he laughs at my jokes! He appreciates my humor and shows it with genuine delight. He has been a thorn in the side of RINOs just going thru the motions and he is very particular about the rules we adopt in order to facilitate robust debate within reason.
Please share my upcoming endorsment flyer and encourage more delegates to support this man who has amazing insight and can tell you all about the long and complex history of the Republican Party in the United States from an insider's perspective.
