What I hear people say is Tim is our best shot to beat Betsy - not that Tim is the best candidate! I think this should be the momentum for Trevor - no one has said Trevor is compromised or a bad guy - he’s not as familiar to constituents and absolutely not condescending! His grassroots conservatism and being the outsider who reaches for more transparency and representing the people is what I think people want! He’s done one of the jobs people don’t want - prisons! Not sitting around pontificating about his next government role, but rather wants to restore integrity in the local office! He’s not an establishment person! I think that’s what the current populist climate is for government...

My friend for life, Wes Burleson, passed away this week. He was a great man, father, and patriot. I attended his funeral today and was honored to eulogize him.

2.5 years ago, he survived a 30’ fall while doing his roofing job. He broke nearly his entire body and suffered brain bleeding.

6 months after, his wife unexpectedly died.

This year, he spent 14 days on a ventilator.

And now, we have lost Wes. Most notably, his fiancé and Wes’s three young daughters lost him.

His brother has set up this fund for those girls. You know I don’t ask for personal donations to my own cause, nor do I often ask you to donate to candidates.

But it would lift much anxiety from the shoulders of the broken hearted in Mississippi if you would prayerfully consider giving to this great family.

If each of you donated one single dollar, you would move mountains and set the three girls up for success.
