Let me be the 1st Statewide candidate to offer Congratulations to the Potter county GOP for taking decisive action to protect elections in Texas! I would encourage 253 other counties take a strong look at their motion and adopt the same thing.

Tarrant County uses VVPAT DRE BMDs. And they intentionally obfuscate these facts.
However, Community Polling Locations are only authorized for counties using DRE voting machines, who can *allegedly* sort the precincts back out digitally and produce a record of that later, which stands as the official record and not the "paper summary" of your ballot.

Yes, Tarrant County uses "BMDs" (Ballot Marking Devices) which are DRE systems that have a layer of Paper Ballots added that shifts the "direct recording" over to the scanner/tabulator after your fake ballot is printed.
It's a FAKE bc it is just a "PVR" (Printed Vote Record) which is not the real ballot, your ballot is still electronically cast.
The only difference is that with a BMD the vote gets recorded in an additional step, after you scan it into the tabulators.
Ok so that's why our BMD system is still a DRE, which is how we are authorized to use community polling centers.

It was brought to my attention that Tarrant County uses BMDs and not DREs, but they are the same system. BMDs simply give a layer of paper ballots, which are then directly recorded onto a computer memory device.

I will update my report to also mention BMDs.

Even tho it's the same system, one just has a fake paper ballot to shut us up.
