[December 31st Trade Recap] ⛑️
HTF & LTF Bearish going into market open. 8:30AM ET we had red news folder come out jumping price pre-market for employment news.
Typically market likes to flush these pre-market moves out during open so my bias going into the day was a short.
Market opened and failed to close on the 1M TF higher and gave me my entry confirmation to see price run to the downside.
Went for a 1:2RR trade into my DOL at 8:30am and secured full profits ✅

TRADE RECAP - JANUARY 2ND
Price overextended in Asia/london session leaving gaps and NWOG (New week opening gap).
New york session open immediately sweeps london highs to the upside then reversed to the downside with volume. takes out london low.
Runs all the way down to NWOG, respects it and reverses but doesn’t hold and then runs right thru NWOG and continue bearish trend to the downside to target lower DOL (December 19th low)
