In this week’s #TBOT solution, I get started with Nostr (Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays).

Nostr is a censorship-resistant decentralized social media protocol. In this video, we’ll do a short overview and show you how to get started in less than one minute.

🙏 Kenya's New Data Center Will Require Shutting Half the Country Down

Announced in 2024, Microsoft is planning to build a 1 GW data center in Kenya.

“We would need to switch off half the country for the data center to be powered,” President Ruto said.

Once again, governments and big tech companies are trying to create power out of thin air, putting everyone else at risk.

⚡️How Digital Id Goes from Voluntary to Mandatory

In this clip, Efrat Fenigson and I discuss how digital ID systems start as “voluntary” but quickly become mandatory by proxy, just ilke India’s Aadhaar. Once Enough people rely on it, exclusion kicks in: from renting a hom to opening a bank account. We also see how the UK is using similar tactics, starting with company directors and spreading from there.
