I hate to draw more attention to this but I see news of the Elon/Trump interview being 'ddosd' in many Freedom Channels. Don't yall know by now that people who run psychological operations understand the Streissand effect?

Making your political interview seem like its getting censored and creating artificial scarcity (omg only 200K could watch it) is the cheapest way to promote it - and unfortunately a lot of people are falling for this high school level psychology and promoting it further.

There's no proof of a DDOS, Elon is never going to release the logs, and Twitter itself was not DDOS'd as people could still access it during the stream. This is just Elon's incompetence at work.

Myself, Whitney Webb, and Ryan Cristian are organizing an alliance of independent media specifically focused on individuals who have been consistently correct and principled in their reporting on 3 core issues:

1. COVID1984
2. Israeli's assault on Palestine
3. The Two-Party Deception

We are reaching out to several people who fit this bill with the intention of forming an alliance.

Our reasoning behind this is related to concerns that already rampant social media censorship will continue to sideline critical voices of dominant narratives as well as concerns that it is important to organize to promote voices and viewpoints that focus more on directly tackling dangerous policy agendas (i.e. digital ID, CBDCs, etc.) and not on promoting branded politicians and related distractionary drama.

Some of the potential actions we are considering include:

1. A weekly/biweekly joint newsletter to highlight alliance members work relevant to exposing the agendas above, particularly over the next 2 months as we approach the U.S. election

2. Weekly or biweekly panel conversations about these topics

3. Joint investigations highlighting the co-opting of the "freedom movement" and how the U.S. election is playing a role.

We are specifically only interested in collaborating with people who were correct - from the beginning - on the above issues.

Invitations to this small alliance have already been sent and more will likely be sent.

Hold tight to your critical thinking. We are going to do our best to unite the indie media outlets and individuals who still have principles to collaborate on how we can pushback against the quickly emerging "Mainstream Alternative Media".

⚡️Durov Out Of Police Custody, Awaiting Trial

“An investigating judge has ended Pavel Durov’s police custody and will have him brought to court for a first appearance and a possible indictment,” a statement from the Paris prosecutor’s office said.

Allegations against the Russia-born Durov, who is a French citizen, include that his platform is being used for child sexual abuse material and drug trafficking, fraud and abetting organized crime transactions, and that Telegram refused to share information or documents with investigators when required by law.

Signal is capitalizing on the whole Telegram situation by making the rounds on tech journalism liked Wired and Gizmodo. These outlets make Signal out to be some sort of anarchist hacker startup founded in some basement. This interview she did with Gizmodo gave her a bunch of softball questions, some interesting tidbits in there though:

- it costs $40M a year to run Signal. Nobody bothers to ask where the money comes from. 🧐
- she protested against the DOD drone contract for the US military, and left her job at Google for that

Telegram Founder & CEO Charged with Wide Range of Crimes in France

Pavel Durov, the entrepreneur who founded the online communications tool Telegram, was charged on Wednesday (Aug. 28) in France with a wide range of crimes related to illicit activity on the app and barred from leaving the country.

It was a rare move by legal authorities to hold a top technology executive personally liable for the behavior of users on a major messaging platform, escalating the debate over the role of technology companies in online speech and the limits of their responsibility.

Mr. Durov, 39, who was detained by French authorities on Saturday (Aug. 24), was placed under formal investigation on a range of charges, including complicity in managing an online platform to enable illegal transactions; complicity in crimes such as enabling the distribution of child sexual abuse material, drug trafficking and fraud; and a refusal to cooperate with law enforcement.

Laure Beccuau, the Paris prosecutor, said in a statement that Durov had been ordered to pay bail of 5 million euros, or about $5.5 million, and was released but must check in at a police station twice a week.
