The U.S. is a strong country in many ways. It is the longest-living Western democracy and a source of inspiration for us all.

The U.S. as the world's policeman and globalization, from which Denmark has also reaped the benefits, have been questioned. And one of the big question marks comes from the White House, and that has been a personal disappointment.

It's not just about Trump, but it's clear that Trump has been the catalyst for some of the trends we've seen.

The relation we've had with the U.S. is slowly changing because the world is changing — it's a principle that has nothing to do with who the U.S. president is.

All over the world, they try and be like us. Nobody can be like us.

And with God's help, we will always be this or even better.
