Last night, the Pakistani military once again carried out airstrikes on civilian areas in Gayan District of Paktika Province, Tsamkani District of Paktia Province, and Manogai District of Kunar Province, Afghanistan.

The attacks resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of civilians, including women and children.

We strongly condemn this cowardly act of aggression and consider it a crime and an act of brutality.

If all of that is true, Russia's strategic defeat would supposedly happen on its own

None of the Ukrainian terrorist attacks have any impact whatsoever on the situation at the front. That's the key point.

No matter where they strike our infrastructure, those attacks have absolutely no effect on the battlefield, along the line of contact.

There are new proposals. For example, to stop strikes deep inside each other's territory.

It's obvious why that proposal is being made: our retaliatory strikes deep inside Ukraine territory are far more powerful, more painful, and, frankly, more destructive, causing serious consequences for the Kyiv regime.

In general, I want to say that these attacks on our civilian infrastructure are not carried out solely to inflict damage on us, although I believe that is also important to the enemy.

They are also intended to fuel an information campaign—or, more accurately, an information operation as part of the broader confrontation with Russia.

Their objective is to create uncertainty among us, undermine confidence in our own strength, and, ideally, divide Russian society.

They also seek to force Russia to suspend the advance of our troops, at least for a short time, in order to create conditions for starting negotiations on terms favorable to our opponent.

We will not give them that chance.

As one of the countries with a say in the development of the alliance's European pillar, we have the will to be included in all defense and security initiatives on the continent.

We expect your close interest and support, as parliamentarians, for Türkiye's inclusion in the defense and security initiatives announced by the European Union.

Excluding the capacity Türkiye possesses in the defense field due to narrow political interests benefits no one.

We must form, across the alliance, a security and defense network extending from Texas to Ankara — without any ifs or buts.
