Earlier, the court had agreed to delay the session after Netanyahu requested a postponement, saying he had been occupied with security and diplomatic matters late into the night and had additional meetings scheduled this morning.

Having a failed state 90 miles from our shores is a threat to the national security of the United States.

When they behave properly and do what’s right, we will let them have their money.

The treaty includes joint development of medium-range air defense missiles, expanded military exercises, deeper defense procurement cooperation, and coordination against Russian hybrid threats. Both countries also reaffirmed commitments to assist one another in the event of an armed attack.

The agreement further expands cooperation on energy, climate policy, economic security, and migration, including plans to strengthen border security and combat organized crime linked to irregular migration.

Keir Starmer described the pact as a “generational uplift” in defense ties, while Donald Tusk said it would help protect Poland and Europe against the Russian threat.
