He also said his brother initially accused Tartaglione of attacking him but later backed away from the allegation because he feared retaliation and did not want to be labeled a “snitch” in prison.

Mark Epstein said he doubts Tartaglione ever found such a note and continues to believe his brother was killed by someone near his cell who was outside the range of surveillance cameras.
