Last night was a very critical night because we had no option just to respond to these new [Israeli] atrocities.

Then there were a few back-and-forths and a few messages through Pakistanis, and we hope that America could control its ally and this time honor their words, actually, and be committed to what we agreed.

We hope that we can meet soon in Pakistan to wishfully reach a settlement and agreement for permanent peace in the whole Middle East.

Lebanon is included in the ceasefire. Iran has shown to everybody that it honors its words and tries to commit to what has been agreed upon.

The root cause of all the problems in the Middle East for many decades has been this wreck and rogue behavior of the Israeli regime.

Nobody can think of a lasting peace in the Middle East unless there is an inclusive agreement for everyone involved.

This is not just for Iran; it is the responsibility of everybody to make sure that Lebanon is included in any peace settlement that is going to happen.

He outlined a four-layer security approach stretching from the border to the Litani River and said the IDF is prepared to strike Hezbollah targets and launch sites across Lebanon “according to the Iran model” if Iran attacks Israel.

We as a federal government are now resuming talks with Tehran. We are doing this in coordination with the United States and European partners.

Our goal is to make our own contribution to the success of the upcoming negotiations on this path.

We are viewing the situation in southern Lebanon with particular concern.

The brutality with which Israel is waging war there could derail the entire peace process, and that must not happen.

Yesterday, along with other heads of state and government, I urged the Israeli government to end its intensified attacks.

Iran’s 10-point plan, shared with international intermediaries, contains a “clear and explicit clause” requiring Lebanon to be part of a comprehensive truce.

The source added that all senior Iranian officials are united on the issue, saying Tehran’s message is clear: "If the Lebanon issue is not resolved, there will be no negotiations.”

They also said Iran has “multiple options” — diplomatic and military — to push for Lebanon’s inclusion in the ceasefire.

The key question is, does it risk a fracture with the White House? I would say no.

Israel is not attacking Lebanon; Israel is attacking Hezbollah.

This is clearly within the president's tariff power. If we're in a state of conflict, then the IEPA policy is exactly designed for that.

Countries really should be careful; if you're helping our adversary, then President Trump will take note, and he'll take action.

This is the man that threatened to wipe out an entire civilization of people; you cannot respond to someone like that; they're mentally unstable.
