For the first time in history, we embarked on a war, shoulder to shoulder, with my close friend President Trump and our great ally, the United States.

We embarked on a historic operation, the biggest operation that the Middle East has ever known. This has never happened in the history of Israel.

And for those who worry about the relationship between me and Trump: We speak daily, and we smile every time we hear these assessments.

The enriched uranium will come out of Iran either by agreement or by the resumption of fighting.

We see eye-to-eye on this issue.

We have taken the Iranian regime years back. We have tired it. We have destroyed its missile production capability.

Not only did we destroy existing missiles, but we destroyed the factories that build those, that produce those missiles, and they are simply firing what they have already built. But they're not producing new missiles.

We significantly degraded the nuclear program, nuclear infrastructure facilities. We also eliminated additional nuclear scientists who joined previous ones, who we eliminated in Operation Rising Line.

The Iran–U.S. Ceasefire terms are clear and explicit: the U.S. must choose—ceasefire or continued war via Israel. It cannot have both.

The world sees the massacres in Lebanon.

The ball is in the U.S. court, and the world is watching whether it will act on its commitments.

I have insisted that the ceasefire with Iran does not include Lebanon.

Today, we have dealt Hezbollah the biggest blow that it has suffered since the pager operation.

We targeted 100 command sites and headquarters in 10 minutes. They didn't know what happened.

We have changed the face of the Middle East in favor of Israel, dramatically, and will continue to do so, because we are the fighting side.

With the help of God, we will be the side that wins.

Before Operation Epic Fury, the Iranian air force would fly 30–100 flights per day; today, that number is zero.

Iran now has zero submarine vessels.

97% of Iran's once massive inventory of more than 5,000 naval mines has also been targeted and destroyed.

President Trump's maximum pressure and the leverage created by the success of Operation Epic Fury led to the Iranian regime asking for, and ultimately agreeing to, a ceasefire proposal with the United States.

Iran could no longer tolerate being bombed or taking the gamble of what was to come following President Trump's 8 p.m. deadline last night.

The Iranians originally put forward a 10-point plan that was fundamentally unserious and completely unacceptable. It was literally thrown in the garbage by President Trump and his negotiating team.

Many outlets have falsely reported that this plan was acceptable to the United States. That is not true. With the president’s deadline fast approaching and the U.S. military decimating Iran with each passing hour, the regime acknowledged reality to the negotiating team.

They then put forward a more reasonable, entirely different, and condensed plan. President Trump and his team determined that this new, modified plan was a workable basis for negotiations, to be aligned with our own 15-point proposal.

The president’s red lines — namely, the end of Iranian enrichment in Iran — have not changed. The idea that President Trump would ever accept an Iranian wish list as a deal is completely absurd.

These extraordinarily sensitive and complex negotiations will take place behind closed doors over the course of the next two weeks.

I would strongly advise the media against running with narratives that have no basis in fact.

What Iran says publicly or feeds to all of you in the press is much different than what they communicate to the United States, the President, and his team privately.

With respect to the initial reporting from Iranian state media, the president was made aware of those reports before I came to the podium. That position is completely unacceptable.

Again, this is a case where what they are saying publicly differs from what they are saying privately.

We have seen an uptick in traffic in the Strait today, and I will reiterate the president’s expectation and demand that the Strait of Hormuz be reopened immediately, quickly, and safely. That is his expectation.

It has been relayed to him privately that what is being reported publicly is false.

It was the Iranians that backed down, not Trump.

Lebanon is not part of the ceasefire; that has been relayed to all parties involved in the ceasefire.

President Trump is dispatching his negotiating team, led by the Vice President of the United States, JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Mr. Kushner, to Islamabad for talks this weekend.

The first round of those talks will take place on Saturday morning, local time, and we look forward to those in-person meetings.

The insinuation by anyone in this room that Iran somehow has the moral high ground over the United States is insulting, considering the atrocities they have committed against our people and our military over the past five decades.
