Over the past 29 days — I’m sorry, 30 days — we have struck more than 11,000 targets.

Given the increased air superiority, we have successfully begun conducting the first overland B-52 missions.

Our defense industrial base is more vibrant today than it has been since World War II — and growing rapidly.

Contrast that with Iran, whose defense industrial base is nearly completely destroyed.

There are many more vessels flowing through today.

I believe Trump was clear this morning in his truth that countries around the world who ought be prepared to step up on this critical waterway as well.

It's not just the United States Navy. Last time I checked, there was supposed to be a big, bad Royal Navy that could be prepared to do things like that as well.

It's not just our problem set going forward, even though we have done the lion's share of preparation to ensure that that strait will be open, which is an outcome the President desires.

We know exactly what Russia and China are doing.

We don't have to air publicly what all of that is, but where necessary, we're addressing it, we're mitigating it, and/or we're confronting it head-on.

There are some things adversaries are doing to provide info and intel that they shouldn't — we're aware of it.

Ultimately we move things around, and one of the biggest principles you learn in the military is to not set patterns, predictable patterns, and so commanders are working hard to adjust in real time with those systems and make sure they're in the right places and not easily targetable.

Our adversary thinks there are 15 different ways we can come at them with boots on the ground, and guess what? There are.

We could execute them if we needed to on behalf of President Trump, but maybe we won't have to use them at all.

The point is to be unpredictable.

We have our own goals and guidance and military objectives that we're moving toward and things that we look at.

As he's articulated, you know, he said four to six weeks, six to eight weeks.

It could be any particular number, but we would never reveal precisely what it is because our goal is to finish those objectives, and we're well on our way.

I will just say any mission that ends on our terms—gonna call it a surrender, call it a defeat, call it what you want—we remain committed to a conflict that ends on our terms and President Trump's terms.

You don't have much of an alliance if you have countries that are not willing to stand with you when you need them.

The talks are very real; they are ongoing; they are active, and they are gaining strength.

We would much prefer to get a deal.

At some point I will [pull American forces out], not quite yet. But countries have to come in and take care of it (Strait of Hormuz).

Iran has been decimated, but they're going to have to come in and do their own work.

I'll be there, but if they're having a hard time getting oil, let them come and take it like they're supposed to.

Let them come up and take it.

They didn't want to give a hand to anybody. NATO is terrible, and they're all terrible.

So if they want oil, come up and grab it. There's no real threat; there's no substantial threat because the country (Iran) has been decimated.

Let them come up and take it. It's about time they did something for themselves.

Since day one, our warfighters have also shown unmatched reach and lethality in systematically dismantling Iran's drone, missile, and naval capabilities by delivering a massive amount of firepower.

Every branch of the military is achieving unprecedented success.

Our Space Force has given us the ultimate high ground, delivering space superiority, which has been a critical enabler to this fight.

There is no adversary too determined, no mission too difficult, and no task too great for our soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, Guardian, and Coast Guardsmen that make up the most powerful military the world has ever seen.

To all our warfighters, keep up the great work and Godspeed.

Melania and I are pleased to announce that Their Majesties, the King and Queen of the United Kingdom, will visit the United States for a Historic State Visit from April 27-30th, which will include a beautiful Banquet Dinner at the White House on the evening of April 28th.

This momentous occasion will be even more special this year, as we commemorate the 250th Anniversary of our Great Country.

I look forward to spending time with the King, whom I greatly respect. It will be TERRIFIC!

Someone is trying to get the message across that Italy has decided to suspend the use of bases for U.S. assets.

Something that's simply false, because the bases are active, in use, and nothing has changed.

There is no cooling or tension with the U.S., because they know the rules that have governed their presence in Italy since 1954 just as well as we do.
