Good call today with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif to hear his assessment on the Iran war, as well as the outcome of the recent consultations between the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye held in Islamabad.

I wish Pakistan all the best for its peace endeavours.

The EU supports all mediation efforts.

They are making threats about controlling the Strait of Hormuz in perpetuity, creating a tolling system and the like. That's not going to be allowed to happen.

President Trump has a number of options available to him if he so chooses to prevent that from happening.
