Iran's insistence on violating good neighborhood principles has led to the erosion of regional trust in it, and therefore we have stressed the need for Iran to stop its aggressions.

Aggression against neighboring countries is a violation of conventions and laws and against the principles of the Islamic faith.

This doesn't serve nor contribute to Islamic unity, but rather undermines the same. The countries today have stressed that Iran needs to review its decisions.

Its continued attacks against our countries would serve it no good but rather would have adverse implications that would cost Iran a high political price and would increase its isolation.

If Iran believes that the Gulf states are incapable of responding, its calculations are wrong.

The political responses are available, and nonpolitical responses are equally available on the table.

Iran needs to review its intentions if they are sincere in extending an arm of friendship and brotherhood.

First of all, you need to uphold principles of Islam, which wouldn't allow a true Muslim to attack their neighbors, especially Muslim neighbors, and particularly civilians and the interests of Muslim nations.

It seems that Iran didn't consider all of this, and all this comes at a price.

The targeting of Riyadh, while a number of diplomats are meeting, I cannot this see as coincidental.

I think that's the clearest signal of how Iran feels about diplomacy. It doesn't believe in talking to its neighbours.

It tries to pressure its neighbours. And what I can say categorically, that's not going to work.

The Kingdom is not going to succumb to pressure. On the contrary, this pressure will backfire. It will backfire politically and morally.

We have reserved the right to take military actions if deemed necessary. And if the time comes, the leadership of the Kingdom will take the necessary decision.

We will not shy away from protecting our country and our economic resources.

Today, two refineries in Riyadh were attacked. What's the purpose of that?

The Iranians will have to understand that this has consequences.

To me, it was clear that the attack today was timed to coincide with the foreign ministers' meeting in order to attempt, I don't know, to intimidate those present, to send home the message that Iran will not stop.

All I can say is we were not intimidated.

I have to tell you what little trust there was before has completely been shattered; it has been shattered on multiple levels.

Iran is trying to exercise a policy of blackmail for their political ends.

They need to understand that neither the Kingdom nor the Gulf countries would accept blackmail, and escalation would be met with escalation.

If Iran doesn't stop—that is the mood I also heard in the room with the foreign ministers earlier—I think there will be almost nothing that can reestablish trust.

It's important for the Iranians to understand that the Kingdom, but also its partners who have been attacked and beyond, have very significant capacities and capabilities that they could bring to bear should they choose to do so.

The patience that is being exhibited is not unlimited.

Do they have a day, two days, a week? I'm not going to telegraph that.

I would hope that they understand the message of the meeting today and recalculate quickly and stop attacking their neighbors. But I am doubtful that they have that wisdom.

The Iranian government's priority wasn't building development and economic collaboration.

Their priority was confrontation and trying to expand their sphere of influence and developing tools of might and power.

Unfortunately, this is what led us to where we are today.

I don't know when the war will come to an end. I believe this depends primarily on the Iranian side.

I don't know how they claim to be fighting for Islamic causes while attacking Islamic countries.

Even before this war, what was Iran's contribution to the issues related to the Islamic world? They support the Houthi militia in Yemen. They supported the popular militia in Iraq, who were—and now they are attacking Iraq. They are attacking Iraqi territories.

Hezbollah in Lebanon, which didn't suffice by hijacking the political decision in Lebanon but rather was an effective arm to perform sabotaging actions in the region and in Saudi Arabia.

And the biggest example is Iran and Hezbollah's role in Syria. Where is the so-called support in the Muslim world when they commit such crimes, supporting the former Syrian regime? How do they support the Islamic world when they assassinate politicians in Lebanon? How do they support the Muslim world's issues and causes when they empower the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq hindering the development efforts in Iraq?

I can't see how they support the Islamic causes. I believe these are simple slogans, which they hide behind.

And these tools, they work to serve the Iranian interests rather than the slogans they claim.
