Dear Mr. President,

The news of the tragic death of Ayatollah Seyid Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has deeply saddened us.

In connection with this heavy loss, we extend our deepest condolences to you, to the family of the deceased, and to the friendly Iranian people, and wish you patience and fortitude.

Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei was a figure who played a vital role in the life of the Iranian state and society over many years and held a special place in his country's political and religious life. His death is a great loss for Iran.

On this difficult day, we wish peace, stability, and security to the friendly and brotherly Iranian people.

May Allah have mercy on him!

We cannot reach U.S. territory, so we have no choice but to target their bases.

The path of our martyred Imam will never stop.

The armed forces will powerfully crush the enemies' bases.

We will drive our enemies to despair by destroying their bases and capabilities.

We must be united in the face of the enemies' plans.

I don't see any limits to our defense of ourselves.

There are no restrictions or boundaries in front of us in defending ourselves.

Regime change is an impossible mission. The absance or death of a leader does not mean the system collapses.

State institutions remain intact.

A new Supreme Leader could be elected within a day or two. Things are going according to plan in the country and everything is in line with the constitution.

Our relations with the countries on the other side of the Gulf are good, and they have no problems with us.

We do not attack our neighbors in the Gulf countries, but we attack the American presence in these countries.

Our military units are currently operating independently and in isolation, following previously issued general directives.

I am in constant contact with my counterparts in the region and I have explained the situation.

I know that some of them are not happy and some are angry.
