The IDF has begun an additional wave of strikes targeting the Iranian terror regime’s missile launchers and aerial defense systems in central Iran.

We are deeply saddened and concerned by the U.S.–Israeli attacks on our neighbor Iran, which began following Netanyahu’s provocations.

We have always advocated that the differences can be resolved through dialogue, and in order to ensure it, we have worked very hard.

During this process, I have spoken over the phone with both Mr. Trump and Mr. Pezeshkian. And the countries of the region also worked very hard and did their share.

But unfortunately, the lack of trust between the parties couldn't be tackled, and since Israel continued poisoning this process, the expected results couldn't be obtained.

We strongly condemn this morning’s attacks, which not only clearly violated Iran’s sovereignty but also targeted the peace and well-being of the friendly and brotherly Iranian people.

At the same time, we find Iran’s missile and drone attacks against our brotherly countries in the Gulf unacceptable, regardless of the reasons behind them.

If space is not created for diplomacy and calm, our region risks being dragged into a ring of fire.

For no more blood to be shed and for our region not to suffer greater pain, all actors, especially the Islamic world, must mobilize to take action.

We will intensify our diplomatic efforts first to establish a ceasefire, and then to ensure a return to the negotiating table.
