We have a great leader, a great military leader named Pete Hegseth, and he is going to say grace.

He's a man who turned out to be absolutely fantastic at what he does, and you know what he does.

Dear Heavenly Father, King Jesus, we come humbly before your throne, praising you for all the providence you've bestowed upon this nation.

For over 250 years, from George Washington to President Trump, we have dedicated this nation to one nation under God, and certainly in God we trust.

And as we think 250 years ago to George Washington on bended knee in Valley Forge, appealing to heaven on behalf of his troops in this young nation, we've appealed to you from the beginning, and may we continue to appeal to you.

Tonight, we pray for our president, President Trump. Give him safety, give him wisdom.

Lord, we pray for our Vice President, our First Lady, our Second Lady, the Cabinet members here, all the governors assembled here as well, and our civil magistrates, Lord God. I ask that you give them the wisdom to see what is right and the courage to do it.

Wisdom is defined as the fear of the Lord, the fear of the Lord being the source of all knowledge and wisdom. Lord God, may your eternal truths rule.

So this evening, also, I would be remiss if I did not pray for our great troops, our men and women all around the globe, defending our great nation as they have for 250 years. Lord God, watch over them and protect them.

It is in your holy name, the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, that we pray, and we bless this food too. Amen.

It's a very expensive building, a very expensive ballroom, but beautiful — an enhancement to the White House.

They needed it for years when they had a big event when the President of China came in; when somebody came in of magnitude, they put a tent out on the lawn; if it rained, you were in deep trouble because the only part of the lawn that they could do it in is a very low section.

It would be a little embarrassing when you're sitting down with the King of Saudi Arabia, and he's sitting in a puddle with four inches of water over his shoes, which was not exactly good.

It's under construction, but right through, that's going to be a very famous portal for hopefully hundreds of years, because what we're building is really special.

It will be totally, totally tax-free; not one penny of tax will be donated to this, and it's going to be something that I think the country will be very proud of when it opens, hopefully for hundreds and hundreds of years.

To get on an airplane, you need voter ID.

To buy a beer, you need voter ID—but to do the most important thing we do has American citizens, exercising our right to vote, we let anybody vote without confirmation and I think that is a form of theft.

We're going to have housing and mass transportation, and we're going to be able to clear and demolish all the areas there and get it ready for a renaissance.

I think this is just the beginning.

I think today it's $17 billion in pledges. Tomorrow it could be $34 billion.

President Trump asked me about Iran’s “red lines” this morning, and he's—I don't want to use the word "frustrated"—it's almost because he understands he's got plenty of alternatives.

He's curious as to why they haven't—I don't want to use the word "capitulated"—but why they haven't capitulated.

Why, under this sort of pressure with the amount of sea power and naval power that we have over there, why they haven't come to us and said, “We profess that we don't want a weapon, so here's what we're prepared to do.”

And yet it's hard to sort of get them to that place.

He's never been anything other than straight with me.

I say that, and I get attacked. But that's an accurate statement.

He's told me that this is what his red lines are. I got attacked for going to meet him eight times.

How would you make a deal with someone on the other side unless you knew where the other person was coming from?

I needed to understand what his motivations were, his goals, and so forth.

I actually think that a lot of those meetings now are becoming very relevant; we understand where they are, and I don't think the Ukrainians disagree with us in our assessments, so I think those meetings were important, and hopefully we're going to consummate this whole thing.

He's changed the perspective of everybody out there (Board of Peace members), all the different nations.

The naysayers would say, “Oh, they're just pandering to him.” It's preposterous.

Everything is better in the entire world and in each of their individual countries, which is what they say about the President.

What presidency has ever done this much in four years or, in fact, even eight years? But he's done it in 11 months. It's nothing short of remarkable.
