The Great Country of Japan is having a very important Legislative Election on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The results of this Election are very important to the future of Japan.

The Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, has already proven to be a strong, powerful, and wise Leader, and one that truly loves her Country.

I look forward to welcoming Prime Minister Takaichi to the White House on March 19th. In my visit to Japan I, and all of my Representatives, were extremely impressed with her.

Prime Minister Takaichi is someone who deserves powerful recognition for the job she and her Coalition are doing and, therefore, as President of the United States of America, it is my Honor to give a Complete and Total Endorsement of her, and what her highly respected Coalition is representing.

I have had very productive discussions with Prime Minister Keir Starmer about the Island of Diego Garcia.

It is the site of a major U.S. Military Base, strategically situated in the middle of the Indian Ocean and, therefore, of great importance to the National Security of the United States.

We have the most powerful Military in the World. Our Military Operations, over the course of the last year, were successful because of the strength of our warfighters, modern capability of our equipment and, very importantly, the strategic location of our Military Bases for staging, and other reasons.

I understand that the deal Prime Minister Starmer has made, according to many, the best he could make. However, if the lease deal, sometime in the future, ever falls apart, or anyone threatens or endangers U.S. operations and forces at our Base, I retain the right to Militarily secure and reinforce the American presence in Diego Garcia.

Let it be known that I will never allow our presence on a Base as important as this to ever be undermined or threatened by fake claims or environmental nonsense.

Foreign Minister Araghchi, at the head of a diplomatic delegation, has departed for Muscat to conduct nuclear negotiations with the United States.

This diplomatic engagement is taking place with authority and with the aim of reaching a fair, mutually satisfactory, and honorable agreement regarding the nuclear issue.

Meetings of delegations from Ukraine, the USA, and Russia are planned in the near future, likely in America.

We are ready for all working formats that can genuinely bring peace closer and make it reliable, long-lasting, and one that deprives Russia of the appetite to continue the war.

We have seen the Iranian leadership wiring money out of the country like crazy.

The rats are leaving the ship.

That is a good sign that they know the end may be near.

The United States is the most powerful Country in the World.

I have stopped Nuclear Wars from breaking out across the World between Pakistan and India, Iran and Israel, and Russia and Ukraine.

Rather than extend “NEW START” (A badly negotiated deal by the United States that, aside from everything else, is being grossly violated), we should have our Nuclear Experts work on a new, improved, and modernized Treaty that can last long into the future.

Diplomacy is always President Trump's first option when it comes to dealing with countries all around the world, whether it's our allies or our adversaries.

Special Envoy Witkoff and Jared Kushner will be traveling to Oman for those talks tomorrow, and we will see what comes of those.

The Cuban government is on its last leg, and its country is about to collapse; they should be wise in their statements directed towards the president of the United States.

President Trump is always willing to engage in diplomacy, and I believe that's something that is taking place with the Cuban government.

Together with Qatar we are deeply concerned about the the situation in Tehran.

I call on the Iranian leadership to engage in talks, to end its aggression and its nuclear program, and above all to refrain from military threats against countries such as Qatar, Jordan, and Israel.

Our government is launching a new $2.3 billion electric vehicle affordability program.

Canadians who purchase or lease a battery-electric or fuel-cell electric vehicle will receive up to $5,000, and up to $2,500 for plug-in hybrids priced up to $50,000.

To support the Canadian auto industry, this $50,000 cap will not apply to Canadian-made EVs or Canadian-made plug-in hybrids.

And these incentives will only apply to vehicles produced in countries with which Canada has a free trade agreement.

These meetings are a waste of oxygen.

There is simply no room for agreement between Iran and the United States on this. This is a point that was entirely predictable.

I don’t know what Trump is going to do, but I don’t think anything is going to come out of these negotiations—whether they’re held in Oman, held in Turkey, or held on the moon.

It’s just a waste of time.
