These globalist ideas that you're gonna change an entire society through military intervention, which you saw us attempting — I lived it in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And you saw the consequences. We've seen that movie before.

We're not doing it again.

You ask for more money, but we’ve already squeezed everything we have.

You want higher salaries without taxes, then tell me where the money should come from while our oil is being sanctioned and we push ourselves into crisis.

Before talking about plans, we must understand our capabilities, our threats, and where we truly stand.

And to those who criticize from the sidelines: don’t just say how it should be done — come, take the authority, and do it.

Arctic security remains a key priority for Europe and it is critical for international and transatlantic security.

NATO has made clear that the Arctic region is a priority and European Allies are stepping up. We and many other Allies have increased our presence, activities and investments, to keep the Arctic safe and to deter adversaries. The Kingdom of Denmark - including Greenland is part of NATO.

Security in the Arctic must therefore be achieved collectively, in conjunction with NATO allies including the United States, by upholding the principles of the UN Charter, including sovereignty, territorial integrity and the inviolability of borders. These are universal principles, and we will not stop defending them.

The United States is an essential partner in this endeavour, as a NATO ally and through the defence agreement between the Kingdom of Denmark and the United States of 1951.

Greenland belongs to its people. It is for Denmark and Greenland, and them only, to decide on matters concerning Denmark and Greenland.

They can no longer deal with us easily, so they pressure us, sanction us, and block our transactions.

On one hand, they claim sympathy for the people; on the other, they shut down every path to a society’s development.

Those who turn the world into a place of murder and plunder then speak of human rights — while bombs fall on Gaza, Lebanon, Palestine, and beyond, killing women, children, and the elderly.

And then they lecture us about humanity.

If you save 10% on your electricity, gas, and water usage, we can save 900,000 barrels of oil and gas every day.

This is our country’s wealth, and we’re wasting it. We consume electricity unnecessarily and use too much heat.

Right now, I’m sweating and want to take off my jacket, but according to protocol, I can’t. It didn’t have to be this warm in here. Lowering the temperature by just two degrees would save enormous energy.

But we don’t care — we consume and then criticize others.

Who’s consuming correctly? Who’s really consuming these resources? It’s you and me. No need to point fingers at anyone else.
