Israel has renewed its request for the Lebanese Army to raid several civilian homes in the south, claiming they contain military targets or weapons.

Such raids require political approval and judicial authorization.

The army plans to take Arab and foreign military attachés, as well as several ambassadors, on a tour next week to review the implementation of the first phase of its plan south of the Litani and its ongoing missions across Lebanon.

The military side of the [US-led ceasefire monitoring] mechanism meeting was less positive than the civilian side, after U.S. envoy Ortagus brought up remarks she conveyed from Netanyahu saying that the Lebanese Army is not carrying out its duties.
