I think my experience in Ukraine has given me a unique perspective that most Americans don't have.

They don't necessarily think like we think. And I'm talking about their political class.

I've personally witnessed them shooting their own troops on enough occasions that it wasn't just an, you know, an isolated incident. It's happened quite a bit enough to the point where you could consider it to be policy. If troops are retreating. So these people as a policy will eat their own. So they will not hesitate to eat an American president or an American vice president.

I think with the fentanyl tariffs on Canada and Mexico and then China gets only 10%.

Then we are doing a summit with China. I think that people can't, like, process that. And I still have not heard a very clear explanation for why as a fentanyl matter that makes sense.

We welcome the agreement reached between President Ahmed Al-Sharaa and General Mazloum Abdi.

The agreement represents a historic opportunity to achieve sustainable peace in Syria and the region.

The agreement requires a great deal of willingness to make concessions and build trust between the partners.

If this approach succeeds in the future, we have great hopes for a better future for Syria.

We are optimistic that Syria is able to move forward towards a more stable future.

One, one, the Syrian people are one.

SDF’s demands from HTS:

1. The new government in Damascus recognizes the autonomous administration of northern and eastern Syria.

2. The new government in Damascus helps to return Kurdish immigrants in the Aleppo countryside (Tal Hasil /Tal Arn/Aleppo city)

- Afrin city and its countryside.

- Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain areas.

3. The new government in Damascus mediates to resolve the dispute between the SDF and the Turkish state.

4. The new government pledges to stop the attacks of the Turkish-backed National Army on the areas east of the Euphrates controlled by the SDF.

5. Participation of the SDF in the next government after March 2025.

6. Making promises to work to include the following in the new Syrian constitution:

- Write only the Syrian Republic.

- Constitutional recognition of the Kurdish language as a second language in the country.

- Giving the Kurds their cultural and educational rights.

7. The government pledges to withdraw the Turkish army from Syrian territory after the situation stabilizes.

HTS's demands from the SDF

1. Recognizing the Syrian government in Damascus and considering the autonomous administration as part of the Syrian state.

2. Expel all foreign elements (PKK cadres) from Syria.

3. Disengagement from external parties and removing Türkiye’s concerns on this issue...

4. Handing over the Arab areas controlled by the SDF, which are as follows:

The eastern part of the Deir Ezzor countryside on the Euphrates River line - the city of Tabqa and Tabqa Dam - the city of Raqqa and a part of its countryside.

5. Giving the government in Damascus 50% of the resources of the eastern region (oil - agriculture - other natural resources).

6. Release all prisoners in SDF prisons, especially Arabs in the region.

7. Handing over foreign prisoners from ISIS to the government in Damascus and full cooperation in this file.

8. Raising the Syrian state flag in all areas of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria.

9. Partial supervision by the Syrian government over the crossings with Iraq and Turkey in the areas of self-administration.

10. An agreement will be reached on a mechanism for the SDF military forces to be administratively affiliated with the new Syrian army.
