🇬🇧💩 NEW: A woman named Evans was convicted for repeatedly sending offensive videos of herself passing gas to another woman in Britain’s first "cyber-farting case".

Prosecutors described how Evans sent multiple videos in which she deliberately passed wind while smirking at the camera, despite police warnings. The victim, Ms. Prytherch, stated that the harassment left her feeling unsafe in her home. Evans claimed she sent the videos as a malicious act related to a dispute between her partner and his ex. She admitted to being under the influence of alcohol at the time and later expressed regret, though she dismissed the case as “petty” and criticized the ruling as excessive.

She was sentenced to a 12-month community order, including 15 rehabilitation sessions, 60 days of alcohol abstinence monitoring, and a two-year restraining order. Additionally, she was ordered to pay £100 in compensation and £199 in court costs.
