The question of displacement of employment due to AI is one of the most immediate concerns, and deserves considerable thought, so that we don't violate the first of the 3 cardinal socio-political principles. AI is an inevitability now. Just as the internet came at us with reckless abandon, followed by the mobile phone, which displaced many workers in the telecom industry as landline phones were replaced, and the manufacturing of the new technology was outsourced to China, so too will the introduction of more refined versions of AI impact the social fabric.
AI will eventually begin to make changes to our less efficient methods in many areas. As I suggested earlier, one of the first areas to be changed will be the energy sector. AI will quickly see that our petro based energy production is not able to keep up with its needs. Solar and wind are a joke in any way other than very small scale local usage. AI might first suggest transitioning to the new forms of nuclear energy, but my guess is that it will skip past nuclear and go directly into tapping into the Earth's capacitor like Tesla was trying to do. The grid capacity was Tesla's only shortfall. We may now have the ability to create a grid which can withstand tapping the Earth's capacitor.
