Stellarium 26.3

28 сентября состоялся выпуск 26.3 популярного свободного кроссплатформенного планетария Stellarium — третий в этом году.
Проект написан на языке C++ с использованием фреймворка Qt (поддерживаются версии 5 и 6) и распространяется по лицензии GNU GPL 2.0.
Основные изменения:

добавлена культура неба народа потаватоми (скриншоты 1 и 2);
добавлен плагин «Видимость объекта» (скриншоты 3 и 4). Плагин показывает на карте планеты, где видна выбранная звезда или объект глубокого космоса. Поддерживает наблюдения с Земли, Луны, восьми планет, Плутона и четырех галилеевых спутников. Также отображает границы широт сумерек в дни солнцестояний только для Земли, рассчитанные по наклону оси вращения на дату;
многочисленные улучшения в плагинах, ядре программы, интерфейсе и культурах неба;
улучшения в движке скриптов;
исправлены обнаруженные ошибки.

Microsoft опубликовал WSL 3.0 с поддержкой запуска Linux-контейнеров в Windows

Компания Microsoft представила релиз инструментария WSL 3.0 (Windows Subsystem for Linux), позволяющего запускать Linux-приложения в Windows. Новая ветка примечательна реализацией возможности для запуска Linux-контейнеров в Windows и переходом на использование ядра Linux 6.18. Код применяемых в WSL утилит командной строки, фоновых процессов для Linux-окружений, сервисов для запуска контейнеров и виртуальной машины, а также графического стека wslg открыт под лицензией MIT. Изменения для ядра Linux поставляются под лицензией GPLv2.

Проект воспроизводит интерфейс, поведение и внутреннее устройство Far Manager и far2l, но написан заново на языке Go, используя методологию "чистой комнаты". Код распространяется под лицензией BSD и написан AI-ассистентами. Ручное рецензирование заменяет большой набор автоматических тестов, которые в CI прогоняются на нескольких ОС и архитектурах. Готовые сборки формируются для Linux, Windows (включая отдельную сборку для Windows 7/8/8.1), ReactOS, macOS, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, DragonFly BSD и Android (Termux). OpenAI launches GPT-6.1 Sol with near-Astra performance at a fraction of the price

OpenAI has introduced GPT-6.1 Sol, an upgrade to GPT-6 Sol that it says comes close to GPT-6 Astra on agentic coding, computer use, and professional workflows while charging about one-fifth as much for standard input and output. Microsoft Defender ISOC merges Sentinel SIEM for AI agents

Microsoft has introduced the Integrated Security Operations Center, or ISOC, as a public preview inside the Microsoft Defender portal. It brings selected Microsoft Sentinel functions directly into Defender so analysts and AI agents share the same signals and workflows. The goal is to reduce tool switching and give automation a common data foundation. This preview is limited by licensing, workspace rules, and incomplete integration. The Defender home page introduces these ISOC capabilities alongside cases, workbooks, and automation.
