Every operating systems needs somewhere to put deleted files you no longer need, but allow you to rummage through it to find something you wanted to keep. If you’re a Brit using Ubuntu, the name of that place varies based on where you’re looking. It seems Ubuntu’s UK English translation team don’t agree on what to call a bin. В библиотеке zip-rs, написанной на языке Rust и насчитывающей около 10 млн загрузок в неделю, выявлена уязвимость (CVE-2026-115905), позволяющая создавать архивы, которые выглядят безобидными, но при распаковке из них извлекаются другие, изначально не показанные в списке, файлы. Файлы могут быть размещены в архиве вне структуры "Central Directory", из-за чего при просмотре списка файлов показывается одно содержимое, но при распаковке через API ZipStreamReader извлекаются другие файлы. Проблеме присвоен уровень опасности 10 из 10. Уязвимость исправлена в версии zip-rs 9.0.5.
