Nvidia brings Nemotron 3.5 agents to PCs, including a 4GB Bolt model

Nvidia’s new Nemotron 3.5 models span a 120-billion-parameter enterprise agent and smaller models for local use on PCs and workstations. The smallest, Bolt E4B, is designed to run with 4GB of memory and is scheduled for release on October 23. Nvidia says the models give organizations options to run and customize agents on their own infrastructure.

Представлен порт прослойки для запуска Windows-приложений Wine, способный работать в OpenBSD. Основная проблема с запуском Wine в OpenBSD связана с запретом в данной ОС установки регистра gsbase из пользовательского пространства, при том, что при выполнении Windows-приложений данный регистр применяется для доступа к локальной памяти потока. But they all have one gap: I have to open a dashboard or an app (ntfy) on my phone to check my server status.

После 11 месяцев разработки опубликован выпуск инструментария CRIU 4.3 (Checkpoint and Restore In Userspace), предназначенного для сохранения и восстановления процессов в пространстве пользователя. Инструментарий позволяет сохранить состояние одного или группы процессов, а затем возобновить работу с сохранённой позиции, в том числе после перезагрузки системы или на другом сервере без разрыва уже установленных сетевых соединений. Код проекта написан на языке Си и распространяется под лицензией GPLv2. CRIU применяется в таких системах управления контейнерами, как OpenVZ, LXC/LXD и Docker.
