В отличие от обычных просмотрщиков системной информации, программа позволяет не только определить установленные устройства и используемые драйверы, но и узнать фактическую скорость подключения PCIe-устройств, проверить состояние SSD, изучить переменные UEFI, посмотреть характеристики USB-подключений и получить подробные сведения о мониторах, аккумуляторах и сетевых интерфейсах. Код написан на языке C++ с использованием Qt6 и распространяется под лицензией GPLv3. Доступна сборка в формате AppImage.

Hyper-V enhanced session mode: VMConnect no longer redirects smart cards, WebAuthn, and printers by default

The October 13, 2026 security update changes how Hyper-V Virtual Machine Connection (VMConnect) handles device redirection in enhanced session mode. By default, printers, smart cards, and WebAuthn credentials—including Windows Hello and FIDO2 security keys—are no longer passed through to a virtual machine (VM) unless you turn those options on. Clipboard sharing and audio playback still default to enabled. Sensitive redirections now appear on the first page of the connection dialog, and you get one prompt per VM to confirm your choices. Python 3.15 makes Windows on Arm native by default

Python 3.15 now defaults to a native Arm64 interpreter on Windows on Arm, while CPython’s Tier 2 support brings the platform into the project’s release testing. Microsoft says 94% of the 1,000 most-downloaded PyPI projects already offer native Arm packages or platform-independent versions, though some dependencies still need work.
